One standard: thorough.

Kinetic recommends sessions begin at 90 minutes: assessment, focused work, and re-checking take time. Sessions include full in-home setup, with table, linens, equipment, and travel within the service area.

Specialty: surgical scar massage

Post-surgical scar work

Once your surgeon has cleared you, scar massage is a gentle, widely used part of post-surgical recovery. Published reviews report that regular scar massage is associated with improved comfort, reduced itch and sensitivity, and better tissue mobility and pliability around healing scars (Scott et al., 2022; Lin et al., 2023; Barnes et al., 2024). Kinetic focuses on comfort, mobility, and how the area feels and moves over a course of care, not on promises of eliminating or structurally changing a scar, which current evidence does not support (Nedelec et al., 2019). Often built into a Signature 90-minute session or booked as a dedicated series.

Kinetic for Teams & Events

A different service, for a different day.

Therapeutic sessions are Kinetic's core work: unhurried, from the recommended 90 minutes up. Events are their own offering: shorter-format bodywork that brings the practice to groups, workplaces, and celebrations. Different job, same standard of hands.

Corporate appreciation days

On-site chair massage for employee appreciation events: 10 to 20 minute sessions, back to back, in your office. Research on brief workplace chair massage supports what teams feel: measurable reductions in anxiety and stress markers.

Spa parties

Private group events at home: bridal parties, birthdays, team celebrations. Table or chair formats, add-ons available, set up and broken down invisibly.

Grand openings & community events

Launching a gym, studio, or wellness-adjacent business? Kinetic provides chair-massage activations that draw a crowd and give your opening a premium touch.

Event formats and rates are shared on inquiry. Inquiries go through the same request form; choose "Event / group" and describe the occasion.

Why no quick option?

Because the evidence says quick doesn't work. A randomized dose-response trial found 30-minute massages, even two to three per week, statistically indistinguishable from no treatment, while 60-minute sessions produced significant, dose-dependent improvement.1 Kinetic's recommended 90 minutes is the practice's clinical standard built on that research: enough time to assess, treat thoroughly, and re-check. Ninety minutes itself isn't a number any study tested, and we won't pretend otherwise.
